From Finham to the workshop in Wyken
For a bodywork trip from Finham, the road distance matters more than the straight-line figure. This suburban area of Coventry, within CV3, sits about 4 miles from our workshop as the crow flies. The drive is roughly 7 miles, using the A45 and A46.
Allow around 11 minutes when there is no traffic. That is a free-flow guide rather than a promise: busy periods and roadworks can lengthen the journey.
From the bypass you take Clifford Bridge Road and Belgrave Road to Bodmin Road, where we are on Star Industrial Park (CV2 5DB). University Hospital Coventry, at Walsgrave, is about three-quarters of a mile away.
Check the junction works before travelling
National Highways is rebuilding the A46 Walsgrave junction, with construction scheduled from autumn 2026 and opening planned for 2028. Overnight closures can involve either the A46 or B4082, alongside traffic management, so check the Walsgrave scheme travel information before leaving Finham.
Consider the cost before making the drive
The repair estimator gives an instant estimate using three details: which panels are damaged, the type of car and its paint type. You can get that initial figure while still in Finham, but it remains an estimate.
At the workshop, a quick inspection is free. If a deeper inspection is needed, the cost begins at £240 with VAT included, equivalent to £200 plus VAT. If you go ahead with the repair, that inspection charge comes off your bill.
You receive a written estimate with the costs itemised. Work only begins once you have agreed to it, and no deposit is taken.
Paint is mixed to your car's paint code and sprayed in our booth. When you are ready, choose a repair date.
