For a driver in Stratford-upon-Avon, the cost of repairing car damage sits alongside another consideration: the journey to Coventry. From this Warwickshire town in CV37, our workshop is about 19 miles away in a straight line, with the drive covering roughly 22 miles.
Put an initial figure beside the journey
The repair cost estimator provides an instant estimate using your vehicle type, the panels affected and the paint type. It is only an estimate, but it gives you a number to set against a round trip of about 44 miles.
Photos help too. Send them by WhatsApp to +44 7903 105777 or through the Send enquiry button on this page; they give us a first view, though they cannot show everything.
Around 22 miles via the A46 and A45
The route uses the A46 and A45, reaching Coventry via the B4082. Without traffic, the drive takes around 29 minutes; allow more time during busy periods.
The workshop is at Star Industrial Park in Wyken, east Coventry (CV2 5DB), a short distance from University Hospital Coventry.
National Highways is rebuilding the A46 Walsgrave junction, with construction scheduled from autumn 2026 and the replacement junction due to open during 2028. Temporary traffic arrangements and overnight closures affecting either the A46 or B4082 mean you should check the Walsgrave scheme details before setting off.
Allow for assessment in your repair budget
A quick inspection is free. If a deeper inspection is needed, the charge is from £200 plus VAT, or £240 with VAT included. We subtract that charge from your repair bill if you proceed with the repair.
You receive an itemised estimate in writing, and work begins only once you agree to it. Small jobs are sometimes done the same day, but allow one to two days, which matters when you are coming from Stratford. Then choose a workshop date.
