Two motorway options from Sutton Coldfield
From Sutton Coldfield (B72), the toll motorway or the M6 changes the distance a little, but the driving times are close. In a straight line the workshop is roughly 19 miles away; either drive covers more ground.
- Via the M6, avoiding the toll motorway: about 25 miles each way, with a driving estimate of 35 minutes in traffic-free conditions.
- Using the toll motorway: about 26 miles each way, with an estimated 33 minutes when traffic is absent.
Those figures leave only two minutes between the options. Allow more time during busy periods rather than planning your arrival around either figure.
The approach to Wyken
Both options leave the motorway at Ansty Interchange and finish on the A4600 and the B4082 Clifford Bridge Road, then Farren Road and Bodmin Road. The workshop is inside Star Industrial Park (CV2 5DB); University Hospital Coventry is the nearest big landmark.
National Highways is rebuilding the A46 Walsgrave junction, with construction scheduled from autumn 2026 and opening planned for 2028. Traffic restrictions and closures overnight on either the A46 or B4082 can affect the approach, so check the Walsgrave scheme travel information before setting off.
Weighing up the repair and the drive
Photographs give us an initial look at the damage, although they cannot show everything. For a discussion, call or WhatsApp +44 7903 105777. Send pictures through WhatsApp; the Send enquiry button also accepts them.
The repair estimator provides an instant estimate based on which panels are damaged, your vehicle type and its paint type. It is a starting figure, not a confirmed price.
A quick inspection is free. A deeper one is from £240 including VAT (£200 plus VAT), and that charge comes off the bill if the repair goes ahead.
Once you have a figure, check bodywork repair dates and plan the drive.
