Coventry Body Shop has one workshop, in Wyken, on the east side of Coventry, under a mile from University Hospital Coventry. We have no workshop in Tile Hill (CV4). If you book from Tile Hill, you drop the car off at Wyken and collect it when it is ready, since we do not offer collection, delivery or repairs at home.

Precision in Car Paint Repair
Batches of the same colour can differ slightly, and paint fades over the years. To match the colour, we use the manufacturer's paint code, specialist colour mixing and a spectrophotometer. Blending the new colour into the surrounding paint then helps hide the join on a panel repaint.
A small scratch may only need a paint touch-up, from £49 plus VAT (£58.80 including VAT), while a car that is faded or damaged all over may need a full body respray, from £1,495 plus VAT (£1,794 including VAT), which takes 3 to 7 days. A single panel repaint starts from £150 plus VAT (£180 including VAT). Every price here is a "from" price, confirmed after we inspect the car.
Advanced Auto Body Repair Techniques
Where a dent has not cracked the paint, paintless dent repair may be able to work it back out with the existing paint left in place. A medium dent starts from £185 plus VAT (£222 including VAT), and a small dent from £90 plus VAT (£108 including VAT) per panel.
Bent panels are straightened by panel beating, and a bolt-on panel that cannot be saved, such as a bumper or a front wing, can be replaced. We do not cut or weld metal panels. If your car needs that, we will tell you and recommend a garage we have trusted with welding work before.
SMART repair, short for Small to Medium Area Repair Technology, aims to keep the work to a small area around a chip or scuff instead of a whole panel. It starts from £75 plus VAT (£90 including VAT). Small jobs are sometimes finished the same day, but allow 1 to 2 days.
Bumper Repair and Respray
A scuffed plastic bumper can be repaired rather than replaced, and some cracks can be plastic welded and filled. If the bumper needs paint, it is primed where needed and painted to your car's paint code in our spray booth.
When a bumper is too badly broken to repair, it can be replaced, and the replacement is priced in your quote. Our bumper repair page has more on the service.
Vehicle Paint Protection After a Repair
We can machine polish the paint and apply paint protection. Protected paint can still pick up stone chips and scratches.
New paint has to cure before it is protected, so ask us how long to wait after a repair.
Accident Repair and Insurance Assistance
We can help with the insurance side of a repair, preparing photographs and a quote for your insurer and dealing with the insurer for you if you want us to. We are insured but not insurer-approved, so check with your insurer how it handles a body shop you choose.
After an inspection, you get a quote before any work starts. If the damage needs a closer look first, a deep inspection is from £200 plus VAT (£240 including VAT), taken off the bill if you go ahead. A small inspection is free.
Selecting the Right Paint System
On a panel repaint, the area is prepared and primed where needed. The colour coat is mixed to your car's paint code, and a clear lacquer goes over it. All paint is sprayed in our spray booth by the director, a former Aston Martin technician and painter, who is the only person painting customers' cars.
