Paint correction is machine polishing that can remove swirl marks and fine scratches from the clear coat, depending on how deep they go. Polishing takes a little off the surface, and we have a paint depth gauge for checking the paint thickness. Our scratch removal and machine polish service is priced per panel, from £120 plus VAT (£144 including VAT).
Colours can differ slightly between production batches and fade with age. Colour matching at the workshop uses the manufacturer's paint code, specialist colour mixing and a spectrophotometer. On a panel repaint, the new colour is blended into the paint around it to help hide the join.

A scuffed or scratched bumper corner can often be repaired instead of replaced. Our bumper repair service covers that kind of damage, and some cracks in plastic bumpers can be plastic welded and filled.
Where a bumper is too badly damaged to repair, it can be replaced. The replacement is priced in your quote after inspection. If it needs paint, it is painted to your car's paint code in the spray booth.

Vehicle Paint Protection and Machine Polishing
We offer machine polishing and paint protection, but not ceramic coating. Polishing can take out light surface marks; it does not make paint scratch-proof, and stone chips still happen.
New paint needs time to cure first, so ask us when a freshly repaired car can be protected.
